Building Sustainable Alliances For African Refugee and Immigrants

This is our general case management and referrals program designed to connect African refugees and immigrants to vital resources and services. Our team includes four dedicated case managers fluent in English, Arabic, French, Amharic, and Swahili, ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate support.

As new resources become available, we actively conduct outreach and engagement to ensure our African communities are informed and connected. We provide general and intensive case management, advocacy, and referrals across a wide range of needs including:

• Rent and utility assistance

• Access to shelters and housing support

• Food and childcare assistance

• Job search guidance

• Legal services

• Connections to healthcare providers

• Domestic violence support

• Public benefits navigation

Each year, we support approximately 1,000 cases through this program.

Our work also includes the SAFARI Health Program, which operates through the HealthierHere HUB. This program offers intensive case management and comprehensive health-related referrals and support services. Through SAFARI Health, we continue to address critical social determinants of health within our communities.
